Once upon I time I used to be able to set the upload bitrate limit under:
Plex Web > settings >remote access> upload speed
I no longer see any “upload speed” option under remote access. I’ve tried both by going to settings via plex.tv and by opening the plex sever app through my Synology GUI. The support articles seem to imply that I should be able to see these settings.
This setting requires an active Plex Pass subscription. That may explain why you saw this setting previously, but do not now (if you indeed do not currently have a subscription for the server admin account).
So was this previously available on the “Free” version but now only available for the paid Plex Pass? I’ve never had a Plex Pass so just want to confirm I am not going crazy and correctly remember being able to change this in the past.
It’s always been a Plex Pass feature.
