Hi all and i realise this is a long shot…(and also may be being dumb!)
I spent hours yesterday setting up my Plex server (Mac) to be available outside my home network . I set up a static IP and port forwarding (32400) on my router (Virgin Media) and i had the exciting green available outside message all last night and all morning til i left home for my partners.
On arriving at hers, i checked on my windows laptop (app.plex.tv) and still all was good!
I went to my IOS Plex app and server not available…weird i thought
I went to Plex on my Firestick and yep, no good there either.Logged in fine but server offline, even though my web plex log in was seeing everything fine and I could play media.
Anyway, I’m waffling now, but went back to my laptop and yep, you’ve guessed it, the server is now not available there either! 
So frustrating.
And now the long shot, I presume there is nothing i can do now; well, apart from going back home 50 miles to check the server…?
