Can access outside network from app.plex.tv but not iOS app

Player Version#: iOS v8.29
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

When outside of my LAN, I can fully access my server online at app.plex.tv, so I’m pretty sure my custom access url is set up correctly. However, the iOS app only works on my network and can’t connect from outside.

I’m very confused why it would work on one but not the other. Does anyone have any insight?

(I’m new to Plex, let me know what logs and such I should add if that helps)
