Remote Access

body

Respectfully, We are here to support Plex, not help you setup a plethora of other applications on your Synology.

May I direct you to the Synology forums? http://forum.synology.com

Fair point, and it may seem like this isn’t related to Plex, however really heavy duty users of Plex may be using apps such as these and Synology also seems to be the go to NAS for such users. All of these apps feed Plex and to truly create the ultimate server remote access to these apps is the final step.

So I’d argue this is very relevant to the Plex community. I’ll post elsewhere but a main reason I posted here is because I know other Plex users would use these apps and once I figure this setup out I’ll post a guide for others to do the same.

Do you have a problem with your Plex installation ?

If you’d like to create an informative post once you’ve figured it all out, it would be very welcomed.

However, the way you worded your post it was clear you want help setting it all up and did not have any issues regarding Plex.

I have a domain name with Google Domains and a Synology NAS running DSM 6 (supports reverse proxy, DDNS, etc.). Sonarr, Radarr, and Ombi are running in Docker containers. They can currently be accessed via servername.net:port when on LAN but that’s not great now is it.They’re not SSL enabled or behind a reverse proxy.

I’d really appreciate some help setting this all up! I’ve found lots of pieces of information around the interwebs but I couldn’t quite connect the pieces.
Details for what needs to be configured are outlined below to the best of my knowledge.

What settings should I put in here?

It is for that reason, I suggested you take the matter up in the Synology forum. As an alternative, you can always use Reddit.
