About 3 weeks ago, remote access just sorta died on my Plex server. I just updated to 1.13.2.5154 today to see if that fixes the issue, but to no avail. I am using a TP-Link Archer C3200 router at latest firmware. UPnP showed entries for Plex in the Service List, but I’ve since rebooted and the list is clear of everything. I’ve tried port forwarding (creating a virtual server in TP-Link speak), I’ve even placed the Plex server in the DMZ. I’m kinda out of ideas at this point. Plex is running on a Win10 VM. It can be seen from remote Plex servers but they show it as “not direct connected” or some such. Anyone have any thoughts?
Well snap. I just disable secure connections and it started working. How bout’ them apples. Looks like I posted a bit hastily. Carry on, Plex-land.
