I have Plex Version 0.9.12.19 running on my FreeNAS which has been working fine until I’ve moved address and had to connect my NAS via a wireless bridged modem. I can connect to the network within my LAN, but I can’t sign into Plex to enable remote connectivity. I see the following error when attempting to sign in “There was a problem signing into Plex.”
I’m using a ASUS DSL N55U router with the DHCP server disabled, and connected via a power line to my Virgin super HUB2ac which has it’s WLAN disabled (I connect to the WAN via the ASUS N55U which works fine for connecting to the outside world.
I’m assuming it’s something to do with the Virgin Hub settings, and wondered if anyone could give me some pointers?
I’m now connect directly to my router (hardwired) and have ensured UPnP is enabled, and tried a manual port forward (as per instructions) But I still can’t sign into my Plex account to enable remote access. I’m sighed into my Plex account locally, so all working fine.
The error I’m seeing after entering my username and password in the (general tab) is “There was a problem signing into Plex”
I have the same problem, i have the asus rt ac66u and upgraded to the 88u, the changes are identical but plex doesn’t like it. if i reconnect the old 66u everything comes up immediately. I could really use some help with this one.
