Hello,
somehow whenever I try to play something remotely it keeps stuttering. So, I can watch a movie for five minutes and then it stopts for a few seconds and then it continues to play.
I tried the experimental player and the standard player with iOS devices, android and fire tv devices. I had the same experience with all the devices.
I’m using a DS918+ with 8GB Synology RAM and nvm.e Cache, also my internet connection is 250 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. The content played is h.264 and h.265 1080p with low bitrate.
The quality is set to “auto” and also HD 2 Mbps, but even at 1 Mbps I had the same issue, but why? Hardware Transcoding is activated and should easily be able to handle this, right? Also, my internet connection should easily be able to upload and send this stuff. On those devices netflix for example works flawlessly.
Hope it is possible to fix this issue.
