So I’m having a strange issue. I have symmetrical gigabit internet service in my home (where the server is located), and am having a strange issue when trying to remote play at my office (300mbit down). I’m able to direct play my uncompressed 4K Blu-ray rips without any stuttering or hitching of any kind on my iOS device running the experimental player while on WiFi, but if I attempt to play said rips on a desktop client on ethernet, the stream stutters and hitches. I should mention that the stuttering and hitching does not occur on desktop clients if I stream locally, only on remote.
Can anyone offer any advice? I’m a little confused at this point. I’d appreciate any help.
