Hi…

Looking for any one on this forum who has ability to remote into their Plex Server and administer it?? I also want ability transfer files remotely…

If so, please share with me how I can accomplish this.

The question here is not about remote access…that is working. I have ability to watch aerial TV, movies, and music…and more on the TVs in the house…and on my smartphone and tablet when I am away from home…

My question is having the ability for remote administration…ie setting up accounts, updating metadata, adding libraries, etc from another computer, phone, tablet from outside the home??

I appreciate any help/ suggestions…

Simply use your browser and Plex Web via https://app.plex.tv/desktop – if your server is available remotely (=remote access), you can also access it via Plex Web while away from home and do the administrative tasks you have described.

Thank you Tom…I tried it from my smart phone at work and it works … I have administration priveleges… Now need a way remote in and transfer files to/from it …
