Remote Roku TV will not direct play

I have roku tvs series 4 55in at both of my houses. My roku at my home with the server can direct play with no problem for live TV but my identical model Roku TV that’s remote will not Direct Play, it Hardware transcodes. My shield will direct play as well as my mibox just not my Roku TV remotely. I have everything changed to original , I have checked MPEG , I have my server set to remote Max, I have 500 upload and 500 download at the other Home. Any recommendations?

On the problem Roku device, what does the status for the server show when you navigate to the “Media Server Status” screen? Click on your username in the side panel and then select Media Server Status. If it shows “Indirect” it means the connection is being relayed and bandwidth restrictions will be applied.

Other than that, debug (but not verbose) logs showing a playback attempt may help in determining the reason for the transcode.
