I have the exact same problem since last update.

One minute remote access is working, the other it isn’t… come on Plex, please fix this issue.

Only thing changed in my setup is the Plex upgrade - router, network, upnp, port forwarding, all the same.

Are you actually losing the connection?

I know for a long time the remote indicator would show no connection but that was because of a lag in the response when it checked. The actual remote connection remained

not sure, it tends to buffer alot more when its in the red not connected state so i think its dropping out, and the logs are saying that the mapping state is “not reachable”. but then 5 mins later it is reachable, its a strange one just not sure why it loses connection to the server?

Same issue. Have made no network changes, no VPN, and all my users are getting booted in the middle of watching movies.

Remote Access keeps going from available to not available randomly, as confirmed by what I see in the console.

Can someone at Plex confirm if this is being investigated? I have seen multiple users have the same issue on different threads in the last few days.

This has been an issue for years…
It comes and goes depending on a lot of network conditions…

I just ignore that indicator…
I wait for a user to let me know then check things out… (rare)…

Yes I’ve seen the indicator for years, but now I’m getting told by my users that the server is offline. Or they get booted in the middle of a movie and taken to the library only all the icons are spinning and they can’t do anything.

Was perfect for all of them for years, then literally unusable for roughly the last 2 weeks I’d say.

I would suggest that you start a new thread, as your problem sounds different then this.
Include your PMS version
and logs from when it happens…

Yeah already started a new thread. Cheers.
