Remote Access regularly disconnects

Server Version#: 1.19.3.2843
Player Version#: Any.

I’m running Plex on Windows 2016.
This server is not directly behind my internet-facing router, but one hop further, hence I’ve disabled uPnP.
My internet connection has a static IP, and has port 32400 forwarded top my Plex Media Server.
Regularly the remote access status goes from “available” to “not available”. Using Tautulli monitoring I can see that this happens 10-15 times a day easily.
The server then isn’t available from outside, nor can I access it inside from my TV/Cellphone/etc which are on a different subnet here at home.
As soon as I press “refresh” in the remote access configuration page, the server is available again.

There are a number of post related to this already, most still can use remote access even when it shows in the web app that it can’t…
Plex has said they were working on it but that it would be awhile since some work was needed on their end.

Well I’ve been trying to fix this issue for months and spent hours and hours reading all the related forum posts dating back many years and this is the first I’ve heard they’re working on it.

They should be more up front and create a sticky if this is the case.

If remote access works but says it doesn’t, are we supposed to ignore it now?

I have been for a very long time…
I only check things if I get a text or call that something is not working…
I have 2 accounts…
Admin used to manage a the PMS servers, I login as needed.
And a regular user account that I use everyday…
I have no home/managed users only Admin…

All other accounts are Friends including mine.

I’ve used an external site checker for some time now. Why wait for plex to provide features you can setup yourself?

This facility also allows me to check from various parts of the world that my users reside in. It not only alerts when performance goes bad I can also see which users are impacted and email them automatically.,

Yeah but that’s the thing… it DOESN’T work.
It goes down quite regularly, without anything else happening on my end. Randomly.
