I’ve had remote sharing turned on for years without any problems. But recently, I’ve had it where it would play on people’s phones and web apps, but not their aTV or PS4. It used to work, then just quit working. When I go into my settings, it sometimes says my remote sharing is working and then other times it says it isn’t, but the people can still stream to their phones and web apps when it says it isn’t working. When I hit retry, it will take forever to try, but then fail. It will give me the option to retry or it will says I don’t have access to the outside network and ask if I’d like to enable it, like I had never done it previously. Now if I refresh my browser while it is trying to set up the connection, it will say it is accessible from the outside, but those devices still can’t see my library.
I’ve tried this with both manual and automatic port forwarding, both with no success. I know my port is open when done manually because I’ve checked online. Don’t really know what’s happened, but this is getting frustrating. Any ideas?
