hi,
i have configured a remote plex instance according to my host’s instructions and am unable to access the server via the desktop browser interface.
- i am able to access the server, see its files, and manipulate it via the direct url.
- my panasonic smart tv is able to view and play back content on the server.
- i have attempted to access the web platform on two different computers and three different browser platforms, all with clean profiles. no joy.
- i have set up new plex accounts and used these with clean plex installations. no joy.
- when attempting to reconnect to the server via a browser, nothing appears in the console.
- when connecting to the server with my tv i am able to see its credentials and the connection process.
- the iOS apps on my iPhone and iPad are both able to connect to and play back content from the server.
i’m at the end of my tether and have been attempting to rectify this for some time. nothing i’ve seen on these forums so far has provided me with a solution.
