Remote Access suddenly not working in web browser

OS: DSM 7.2-64570 Update 1

Since recent I have the strangest issue. I can’t access plex from my web browser. The mobile app works just fine and so does the windows app. The problem is, a lot of my users just use their web browser. However when they try this they get the error ‘unable to connect to server securely’. I have my secure connection set to ‘preferred’ but it still won’t work.
