Ever since updating to latest version. Remote streaming cuts out about every minute to load.
Is there a resolution to this yet? I had same issue about 6 months ago and just ended up reverting back to my old server version. However, since the upgraded apps came out for IOS, I can no longer use my old server version and was required to update. Now I’m back to having issues streaming remotely again…
Looking at your account it looks pretty normal. Looks like you may have IPv6 enabled in server network settings. If you need it then it is ok but I have seen it cause issues with remote access.
have you looked at the dashboard when something is playing remotely to see if it is using Relay which is a much slower connection that might cause issues as well
if you want to share your server logs we can see if there is anything showing errors there that might explain it
Did you see anything in the logs? I was able to track down last night that remote user was able to play videos that were saved as SD on server. Any videos that had 720p or higher were not able to be played remotely. Not sure if this helps narrow down the issue or not. I ended up downloading the shows I wanted to watch remotely in SD quality just so I could watch remotely.
I just wanted to bump this topic up as I believe I am having a similar issue too. Just want to know if anyone has found a fix. I believe I am also having a weird remote user issue where anything that is being played over 30mbps bit rate is constantly buffering.
