Good day.
I added a friend to my library access and accidentally added to Plex Home so he has the option to switch to my account on his devices with full access.
I cannot seem to find a way to remove him from Home access, I have removed as a friend in shared access but still shows up in Plex Home and the only buttons is “remove library access” which does nothing.
I have managed users, not invited friends, but I believe it uses the same UI here. The tricky bit is that the “X” to remove the friend won’t appear unless you point at the user.
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I have tried that too but the X does nothing.
Edit: Ok, so I managed to remove from Plex Home using a desktop browser, neither mobile browser or the Android app would allow me to.
I did get to that point before but they still had access, hence me re-adding and removing from Plex Home.
I will see if they still have access tomorrow.
Next might be to go to “authorized devices” to revoke the credentials for their client. This should force a re-login on their side, which I hope will cause their client to identify the correct permissions.
Ok, so seems like removing from the list of authorised devices has fixed the issue, but actually WTF.
I mistakenly gave someone access to Plex Home months ago, and even removing them as a friend and re-adding without Home access, they still had full access to my server?
How is this ok?
