I just upgraded to Plex Pass and downloaded Plexamp. Is there a way to remove the “Stations” category from the home screen of Plexamp? I don’t know how these stations are created but I don’t need them and can’t see a way to delete them or turn the feature off. There isn’t even a way to collapse/expand the category.
Answer is NO.
Have you stopped and restarted your server yet? Doing so will force the server to acknowledge the presence of the Plex Pass and unlock some features.
Why I am telling you this? those stations are one of the major (if not THE) reason to use Plexamp.
Letting the server unlock music-related premium features and letting it analyze your music is fundamental to unleash the full power of Plexamp.
If you only listen to your own hand-curated playlists or only albums one-by-one, you probably don’t need Plexamp.

I didn’t restart my server so thanks for the suggestion. I’m trying out Plexamp primarily because playing thru the Plex app is sometimes very problematic when I’m not within my home network. I’m hoping Plexamp is more reliable. I wasn’t expecting to see features that are built on my own music library and have no control over the features I won’t use. This just my humble opinion but a basic feature upgrade would be having the ability to hide or remove the Stations category or individual items within the Stations category. I still plan to use the app and test some of the extra features that could prove to be useful. I appreciate your feedback.
