Removing my email from all the posts (nice one plex)

Before you ask… yes I’ve followed this link and no it doesnt work… (becuase when I follow it it shows my ples username HAS been changed and it isnt my email address and never was) Understandably a bit hacked off by this.

If you have not already, we suggest setting your Plex username to something else rather than email which is displayed on your posts in forum. You can change the username at https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/account

So if the only way to acoid having endless spam from webcrawlers scraping my email is to delete ALL posts and my account then so be it.

If I could get some suggestions asap so I can fix this or delete all the posts and the profile.

But seriously though, no-one knows how to do the one thing the forums ask us (and which I’d like) to do, ie. remove my email address from the forum posts to avoid spam? No-one …Beuller…???

You forum name has already been changed. It does sometimes take awhile for the caching to reset, which was probably what you were seeing. I see “dom-london” as your user and not an email account.

thanks - yes - its a little sleepy with that sort of stuff clearly
