Removing or Hiding Recently Added

I recently added setup my phone to sync all of my photos and videos to my plex library. I love the idea of this, but seriously do not like that my home screen on all my devices now shows the recently added photos and vidoes. is there a way to hide this (setting or configuration file on the server itself?

edit library > advanced > include in dashboard, uncheck it

Thank! I would have never found it there.

Thank you very much! One of those settings I never realized was there and a HUGE help to organizing and cleaning up my Dashboard!

I do not know if this setting has changed over the previous updates but on my Roku Plex App I do not see an option to remove or hide “recently added movies”. I really need this removed from my dashboard because I have a young child and he uses the Plex server and there are recently added movies I do not want him to see. Please advise.

it’s a server side setting, it will apply to all accounts

I’m running Version 1.14.1.5488 for Mac. This feature seems to have been removed and “Recently Added” can’t be “unchecked”

Was it moved?

In the latest version I cant uncheck this “Include in dashboard” Plex just writes: “Your changes could not be saved.” I have rebooted multiple times I even deleted and tried to recreate the folder but it will not let me disable this (For recording Movies from TV DVR) Any suggestion to what I can do?

I have the same question. I would like, however, to remove only specific items. Any help?

Hi, I recently had to rebuild my Plex server after a fresh Windows install and was struggling to find this option myself. I found it in Server Settings>Libraries (under manage)>Edit (on the item you want to hide)>Advanced>Un-tick ‘Include in Dashboard’.

I also don’t find the option where it should be but
I WAS ABLE TO REMOVE RECENTLY ADDED by going to the home page, mousing over the name of the group and an X appeared. I clicked on the X and that group is hidden. If you change your mind, there is an option to restore the home screen.
