I enjoy the ability to add tracks to any existing playlist or to create a new playlist on the fly; but when reviewing or listening to a playlist and decide to remove an unwanted track from the playlist, it would be great to be able to do this on the fly from the player (PlexAmp or other Plex player).
Im not sure if you mean the Proper Playlists or the “Up Next” Queue, If you mean the “Up Next” Queue you can just swipe the unwanted track to the left and click on “Remove”.
In case that you mean the Playlists I do agree that it is a hassle, but it is possible to remove tracks from within plexamp.
You just need to search for the name of youre playlist, open it and then swipe the unwanted track to the left, alternatively you can just open the playlist from the “Recent Playlist” widget on the homescreen.
Thanks for the info. Yes, I am referring to custom Playlists I’ve created. In addition to your method, I discovered that during playback of a playlist, you can swipe left on the “up next” list of upcoming tracks. But a better feature would be to have an ability to remove tracks on a cued playlist after just hearing it and realizing you no longer want it on your playlist. Currently, as you said, it is cumbersome…and I believe counter-intuitive.
You were correct on your original reply. I was incorrect on that last part. When I cue a custom playlists and then go to the “up next” tab and swipe left on a track, it only removes it from the present queue, not from the custom playlist - so if I recue the playlist, the track in question is still on it. My mistake. Wish there was a long press feature on a custom playlist tracks which read “remove from playlist:.”
