Repeated issues with DVR

Howdy Folks,
I’m a new PLEX user, but not new to DVR. I ran a SageTV server for over 10 years and other than antenna issues and network problems it was generally painless. I switched to plex, because I can see the writing on the wall and it was time to move on.

Thus far I’ve been really happy with the trans-coding to different devices (something SageTV can’t do naively). I was really happy to hear about DVR support and I bought a lifetime plex pass for that reason. However, I’ve had spotty issues recording via my SiliconDust HD HomeRun Duel ever since.

What I’ve found is that I’m seeing regular references to this in my logs:

Can anyone give me any insights on this?

Separate from the above issue, I’ve got a bigger problem where I’m just not capturing recordings. For example tonight I noticed that several recordings didn’t record properly. The recording schedule shows a warning sign on each item and it only says that an ‘Unknown error’ has occurred.

Any insights would be welcome as I’m pretty frustrated at this point… ;(

Thanks,
Graham
