Recordings Failing or Partial Recordings

I switched over from the HDHomeRun DVR beta program to Plex DVR but it’s turning out to be a bad idea since I’m constantly getting partial recordings or no recordings at all. I don’t know what the problem is, but it’s pretty obvious that this log shows the problem. Can someone help me decipher it?

Mine looks almost identical except after the dvr_file.ini does not exist I see the following

So it appears that my device are being found through device manager. Sounds like a security issue, possibly firewall, if your device manager is not seeing the HDHR device on the network.

I’d like to bump this thread because I’m still having failed recordings. My entire Plex Tuner Service.log file is filled the messages from the original post. Please don’t let me give up on Plex’s DVR.

So is your HDHR seen in Device Manager? What about in File Explorer under the Network Locations?

So I believe I found the answer after opening a ticket with SiliconDust support. My storage drive is beginning to crap out. In Event Viewer, my log is full of warnings and errors relating to this. I just switched over to have my Nvidia Shield be the PMS and bought a new external drive to remove the computer from the equation permanently. Needless to say I’m having another issue with that setup, but at least the recordings are successful!
