Server Version#: Version 1.42.2.10156
Player Version#:all of latest (will not check each and every device, but all of them have the same issue)
I have several users inside my account. The admin user has the “Report Issue…“ on each video, all of the other users do not have that option at all. So the only person that can report issues, is the person that can fix them, but no others can report, but they can not fix it by them selves. In other words only the admin can report issues and only to them selves. I believe this is not done by design, but it is a defect, and since i found no other way to report defects in Plex, I am doing it here.
Regular user:
Admin user:
Only “managed users” are not able to report.
Managed users are designed for people who live with you under the same roof. i.e. children, spouses, or the elderly.
These users are also barred from using the social features of Plex. The “report” feature is built on top of that.
If you were to grant access to users with a full regular plex.tv user account, they would be able to report issues to you.
Thank you for the fast answer.
One thing still dose not make sense for me. The fact that the users live under the same roof with me, does not mean that they have to bug me every time they have some subtitles issue, and that i have to drop all i am doing to fix it. They should be able to report that to the admin (aka me) and for me to have a log with all the issues and deal with them whenever i have time. Do not see any difference between a person watching something in the next room, or someone in the other part of town. If the answer is for me to create several accounts for this people and have to manage there passwords, it feels like Plex just wants to manage accounts on there servers instead of mine for some strange reason.
