So I have home movies grouped in seasons using the personal shows agent. Seasons don’t really make much sense in the context of personal shows like they do for actual TV shows. It’d be nice if you could just name the season based off of the folders the media is in, or just be able to go into the editor and put in the name of the season.
totally understand that request!
alternative idea: couldnt you just put the name into a folder image? i know its more work for you, but it would for most (if not all clients) solve your problem?

There is a way to put folder images??? How? (Note my server is on a mac)

not exactly folder images, but you can change the picture that is shown for a show and for the seasons if you klick on the edit/pen icon and choose from images downloaded via the agents or upload your own images.
that way marklight can just put the names in a picture and upload it as an image for the folder/show or the seasons.

if you name these pictures the right way and put them into the right place, they are even picked up automatically (at the time when you add these ‘tv shows’)
