I toggle subtitles on and off during some videos so it’d be nice to have a working keyboard shortcut for it.
There’s an extensive list of shortcuts at Plex Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows and Mac but those don’t seem to work for my “Plex for Mac” 1.35, at least AFAICT (hitting S and L don’t seem to do anything, for instance, but manually turning on subtitles under Playback Settings works just fine)
From the looks, that’s some shortcuts of Plex Media Player. If you’re looking for parity, your best shot will be Plex HTPC.
btw… no need to chase after some potentially outdated cheat sheets if you can use the original list from Plex’ support articles → Controlling Plex Media Player.
You can find the list of supported keyboard shortcuts for Plex for Mac/Windows inside the app by clicking on your account icon and selecting the Keyboard shortcuts option.
Just curious, any idea why these keyboard shortcuts (for subtitle toggling, language selection, etc) don’t show up in the desktop apps? Is there something about the desktop apps that makes those particular shortcuts difficult to do?
