I doubt this is much of an issue for most people, but as a Deadhead who has been collecting music from many Jam Bands for almost twenty years now, I've built up a sizable collection of concert recordings that I've digitized over the years. Most of these shows are multi-disc affairs, usually between two and four discs each. What it comes down to for me is, trying to look at The Grateful Dead, Phish, or others on the Plex mobile app or in the Plex Web Player nets me either a timeout, or a looooong wait, because all the stuff it's trying to organize and display is multiplied by all those multiple disc recordings.
I used to use Subsonic, which was a bit barebones, but actually supported this feature and worked well. I love Plex, and I'd love to see this in a future build of some sort, so I don't have to be, "I wanna listen to some Dead, but will this crash the player?" As always, if I'm doing something wrong or not using a feature that's already build-in, please let me know.
