I've seen this done in the FOX XboxOne app where you can pin shows to your main xbox home screen.
It would nice to pin what's on deck (or anything else) to the home screen and be able to launch directly to that....
Just a thought

Continuous playback for TV shows is the only thing I would prioritize (on my own list). I know other enhancements/improvements will come iteratively, but continuous playback is a must for me!
That said, I love the Plex app on the Xbox One already!
Add recently added media to the front (or at all)

Recently Added should appear on the home screen. Are you saying it's not showing up for you?

Shared libraries
Android remote support
Love the app,
Shared libraries
Shared libraries work now, but they won't appear at all if the server version is below the minimum. Tell your friends to update their servers ;)

Let's try to improve basic playback before new features etc are added. Though I realize many of these issues depend on MS updating the XB1 OS. Hopefully the 1410 update will be released to the public this week (and then the 1411 update for us testers).
1. 24p support.
2. Less transcoding and more Direct Play/Stream (i.e. DTS audio).
3. Plex app remote control.
4. Skip forward/back.
Keep up the good work!
i would like the ability to change aspect ratio or stretch video to full screen
mmccurdy I wanna subtitle options. Change subtitle ok. Change color no. Change location no. Change size no. Change delay time no.
My plasma is highly susceptible to image retention, a couple of my feature requests relate to that:
- Screensaver support or a dimmer, similar to PHT. The Xbox slightly dims the screen after 10 minutes of inactivity but I think this is actually quite a long time period in terms of causing IR issues and it's not very dark.
- Hide or change the opacity of the Plex logo after a certain period of time. This will definitely get burned into my display. I believe Microsoft may be adjusting this in a future Xbox update for the 'X' logo that shows in the top right, please see one related thread here. As mentioned above the default screensaver takes 10 minutes to come on which is causing some issues.
- Better support for Direct Play (I know we rely heavily on Microsoft for this)
- Channels
- Better subtitle support (.srt without transcoding)
Thanks :)
Just bringing my post in from the other thread in case this one gets stickied instead!

Don't see it :(

The screen you skipped through (the first one) would have it if you let it load...if it isn't loading than that is a separate issue
I didn't see any "Recently Added" on mine either .. I saw "Recently Aired" which isn't something that I find as helpful as "Recently Added". I am not near my XN1 right now though so I will have to triple check when I get home in 5+ hours.. could someone post a screen shot showing "Recently Added" for those of us who are having trouble?
@Wastedfun: it looks like you're not getting the expected stuff on your home screen (it should definitely show more than just the library names). Is it possible you've unchecked "Include in dashboard" on all of your library settings? That setting does things like exclude artwork from background slideshows, but it will also prevent things from showing up on the xb1 home, since that's considered more of a global place that you may not want select content appearing. Same question for @fallenangel1, assuming you're seeing the same (mostly blank) home screen.
I love this app and I think that just a couple of things could make it absolutely incredible.
-SmartGlass integration that allows you to browse your library directly through the smartglass app ( I know you can use the plex app as a remote but to have it integrated into the same app would be WAY more convenient)
-Voice Search in and out of app Ex. "Xbox Bing" also brings up results from your plex library and in app the ability to voice search by name as well
-Name Selection By Voice Ex. (instead of "Xbox Select", "Select 4") you can say "Xbox Select Game Of Thrones" "Select Season 3" "Play Epsiode 7"
-A Central Settings Menu For Quality Ect.

They are all check (and work on all other apps). I will do a hard reset when I get home tonight.
I’ve been looking forward to this release for quite some time.
Yet it’s not really useful for me at the moment due to the lack of at least a “unwatched” category.
Beyond the TV shows > Browse-view, I haven’t found any other list view (yet) that included the unwatched episode count tickers on the cover assets. Making it fairly difficult/cumbersome to find unwatched episodes.
Filters would be powerful, yet possibly clunky to manage through the Xbox interface. However, it might make more sense to let us define “smart categories” on our server, based on one or more filters. (They’d be able to act as a sort of smart, tailored queue lists on steroids) Which could then be pushed to multiple client interfaces, including Xbox?
The automatic categories don’t add any benefit to my experience, they’re even a little bit bothersome.
They might still be useful fallbacks when a user doesn’t bring his own categories to the table.
It’s shaping up to be a very nice client, but it’s not yet up there to make me switch from my temperamental Apple TV/plexconnect tiding me over. Thanks for the continued effort!
I just wanted to put in a second vote for the Bing Voice Search functionality. Right now a Bing movie search will link to Netflix, Hulu and other apps where the movie is available to stream or purchase. It would be awesome if Plex movies and TV shows showed up in there too.
