You know what would be great? If when watching a tv show it would Play the next episode after all Netflix can do it and also when you pause the show it be great if the synopsis would appear on screen

On a gigabit network Plex does not have to trans code a video . . i have 20mbps selected and my server cannot keep up causing stuttering and finally Plex error.
Please bypass trans coding on LAN.

It's not a matter of network bandwidth per say. I can stream MP4 files to my son's xBox One at his mother's house (divorced) and they will direct stream.
It's more about having your files in the correct format so that you don't have to transcode.
It transcodes any video above 20Mbps, regardless of format.
When will skip forwarding be enabled with the Xbox remote. Being able to skip 30 seconds ahead and 15 back would be great. Also a bit of visual customization would be great. I’m partial to aeon myself. The setup needs to be tweaked as well. I have a large library and sometimes have a hard time finding something to watch without having to browse my entire library.

Skipping forward 30 seconds / backwards 15 seconds is the only thing I want for Christmas.
Also if I’ve already viewed a movie it doesn’t need to show up on my dashboard (recently released movies or top movies). Tv shows would be nice to play the next episode automatically and maybe a bit of customization for example default audio (some of mine have 5.1 and AAC stereo) I would also like to be able to change the appearance. Also group sets would be amazeballs. (For example all James Bond films would be grouped together) I know this is possible I had it on XBMC and I really really miss that option. I appreciate all the work that goes into this and don’t mean to sound ungrateful by making demands I’m just asking for things to enhance the experience.

I believe this is where they are headed with the filter/sort options and I think you can kind of see it when it recommends some movies in relation to some other watched ones. I imagine when they implement it so we can use our own filter/sort options you will be able to see more like what you are describing.
But until we see it released, we won't know for sure.

While I appreciate the sentiment behind your answer unless you know something we don't I would love to avoid speculation and guesswork. I could just as easily say I believe at on some point skins/themes will be available through an in app purchase. While this would be awesome I have zero evidence to support this belief. I'm just saying I think it's best if this thread is kept for making suggestions and leave it up to the development team to confirm or deny anything.

Ability to skip back/forward using the LB/RB buttons.
On every other client I have used you can skip video in chunks of 30-45 seconds ... that seems to be missing from this otherwise impressive app.
Unless I just missed it and the skip is mapped to some other buttons?
This! Skip behaviour that works in the same way as Plex HT (which I'm avoiding in favour of Xbox One Plex at the moment because it's a slide show at best on many hi-res videos at the moment)
Being able to search my films through genre
I don't know if it had been said before but when I have a movie in 2 files movie1-parta.avi and movie1-partb.avi by example, plex can't read the second part no matter what I do. The only solution to this is split the files on the server which I don't want to do.
For the xbox one client:
1. Being able to sort Movies by genre like on the TV or PC client without having to bypass plex altogether and use the xbox media player.
2. Channels.
3. Music support.

I use handbrake to convert most of my hd TV shows to Apple TV 3 format (m4v) and it always has 5.1 audio and AAC stereo which it uses as the default. How do I make the 5.1 my default audio setting? I can’t find anything on plex media server settings or on the Xbox one.
