Required version of MacOS

Server Version#: 1.18.9.2571
Player Version#: Latest on MacOS 10.11

PLEASE, either allow older MacOS installs to run the new version of PMP, have a pre- as well as a current version, or allow us to compile it for older versions. For example, MacOS 10.11.
The server updated, the Web interface updated, the phone updated, and now I lost all access to the PMP.
The reason that I run the MacMini that is there is specifically be cause it is an older computer, it’s a 2011 model. Yes, it is old, but it has one single job. Push sound from Plex to the pre-amp for music. That’s it. The computer is cost efficient to buy, and run.
Currently, I am trying to install a new OS just to get back the functionality that I had a month ago after weeks of trying to figure out why all of a sudden none of my interfaces (web of Android) can cast/control it anymore.

I realize that there are a ton of newer computers out there, but Apple doesn’t allow the updates like MS would.
Please do not force me to loose features of Plex that are incredible, that I have loved for years just because Apple forces everyone to buy all new hardware yearly.

Please either make a version for pre-10.12 (or whatever version) and then a post-10.12 (again or whatever version) so that I can continue to enjoy the system as I have for so many years.

Is there a reason you cannot run Sierra, 10.12, or High Sierra, 10.13?

A 2011 Mac Mini should run either.

I’ve an early 2011 MacBook Pro on Sierra. The current version of PMP runs fine.

I actually was able to get up to 10.13. I forgot how complex it is to update Macs. I was trying the normal “Check for updates” and there were none found. I had to go out, find the link to the app store for 10.13, and then do the update.
–Fricking Apples…
However, I’m maxed out at 10.13 now, so I’ll move the request to up please don’t push it past 10.13.

However, the core issue that I thought was MacOS/PMP/Plex server version issue seems to not be. PMP is still not functional as a place to cast to. The Web and phone can connect to the Playstation, and the phone can see the Vizio and the Mac PMP but cannot connect to the Mac-PMP.
Yes, same /24 subnet.
Yes, PMP is wired (and Wireless). I tried shutting off each individually.
PMP is V 2.53.0.1063-4c40422c (I was working on updates before but that’s what’s installed) Pretty sure that is the most recent version.
I know PMP isn’t getting the love that other sections are but TV mode only is perfectly perfect

You can see my casting options from Chrome. PMP, Vizio, and PS4 are all on so there should be 3 listed, 2 that I care about.

Maybe I’ll have to uninstall PMP? Any directions on that since Apples don’t have an “Uninstall” really. I can delete the app, delete it from the Authorisex devices, redownload it, and reauth.

I did install “Plex” for Mac, and that’s what I was thinking that PMP turned into and thus the core concern of MacOS but it doesn’t work as well as PMP, however I can remote control it from Web.

Well, I was able to find the uninstall process.
Wiped it out. Also removed it from my phone.
Reinstalled everything.
Re authenticated everywhere.
Still can’t cast to the PMP.

Maybe somebody else can help with the casting. I don’t use that part of Plex.
