I ran into a serious problem when I rescanned my Hauppauge winTV tuner channels last weekend after having to change the USB port of the receiver. When I was adding it back Plex first showed me the previous channel lineup (100+ channels) that it had before. Unfortunately, I decided to rescan the channels just to be safe (HUGE MISTAKE). Now, 5 days and more than 10 rescans later, Plex still finds only 20 of the way over 100 previous channels, and 19 of those 20 are protected! So it has essentially become unusable for me. I have tried switching back to the original USB port, to no effect. Strangest thing is that when scanning the channels, Plex seems to find the (about) 140 channels that my cable provides, but when the scan completes only 20 channels are shown (see images below).
I was using the live TV feature just before this happened, but it’s been a long while since the last time I rescanned the channels. I have cable and there is nothing wrong with the signal strength.
