No reaction here?

I recently learned, that on iOS there is a whole Info dialog with resolution, bitrate, tracks and file size (like in the webinterface).

I always assumed, thats missing on all mobile interfaces, but instead its only missing on Android.

Given the removal of the resolution and codec the Android app now is totally hot garbage!

A recent update removed this information. Plex love messing with the UX and removing stuff we find useful!

You’ll also noticed its just been removed from movies but tv episodes still has this information. Plex are masters at consistency.

Yes noticed that also. So you think its on purpose? WTF, why would they do that?

But the file info, that’s present on iOS never was on Android in the first place.
I could live with the removing of the resolution line in the UI, if we could have the file info view.

So Plex, you might want to get your stuff sorted out!

Alas, I suspect intentional. If I’d to guess I’d say streamline the UX so they can give room for the discover/social stuff which I’ve personally no interest in.
