RESOLVED - Brand New Media Server Install - "There was an unexpected error loading this library" in Web UI when clicking Music or Photos

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3876
Player Version#: N/A

  1. Brand New Install - went fine (MS Surface Laptop 3, Win 10 - latest updates installed)
  2. Music or Photos (only two libraries) - click either of them and get the “There was an unexpected error loading this library” message.

I can’t see any of my media (Movies or Photos).

Plex Media Server.1 LOG file attached (slightly edited to remove personal email, machine name, etc.). CTRL+F keyword “error”:

  1. Numerous XML file parsing errors (same error, mult. locations)

  2. Numerous “Provider is unavailable” errors (iterating through individual songs against online provider)

  3. Errors towards bottom - 403 error looking for access token(s?) via your API.

  4. Error - local file didn’t exist to write to.

  5. Error - curl_easy_perform(handle): 7

  6. HTTP error requesting GET http://174.73.189.113:11016/identity (7, Couldn’t connect to server) (Failed to connect to 174.73.189.113 port 11016: Connection refused)

Been a log time since I’ve looked at log files…I appreciate your help in getting me up and running. I promise, I’ve been diagnosing on my side for a while now, sorry to pass this over to you.

Cheers!

[edit - removed *.log file]

Oldest trick in the book - restarted my laptop and I can now see my music - playing songs now (all in FLAC). Why I didn’t do this earlier is a mystery.

I’ll provide a few more updates as I snoop around and validate that all is well…carry on.

Seems to be working just fine…nothing more to see here.
