Highest selectable quality is 1080p 20Mbps unless using Original.
So, the only choices are:
- Original at 70 to 100 Mbps
- 1080p High
- Pre-transcoding everything to 4K versions
There is no 4K middle tier.
Background
My 4K library is Blu-ray remuxes. My family wants 4K remotely but cannot always support full remux bitrates when on the road.
I run an Intel Arc A310 that can easily transcode 4K H.264 and H.265 at 20 to 40 Mbps.
Older apps supported 4K transcode tiers. Please restore them.
