Broke hard drive with server data (original data basically inaccessible) and removed the server from Plex (in preparation for creating a new server). Remembered I had Download/Sync of favorites on mobile phone, tested them, and the video files still work properly on that device.
They are currently saved to “internal data”, which should be on my sd card (formatted as shared internal storage). Cant seem to change the location. Also can’t locate or access the internal folders to extract the video files, and do not have root access on phone. Cant get root access without deleting all files, which probably includes the synced content.
And finally, I also wasn’t able to play any of the synced content on another device (even though it should be able to?) I have “Advertise as Server” enabled, but no difference.
Using a Razer Phone 2 on Android 9. Is there any possible way to somehow restore this content? Super frustrating to be able to view the files on my one device, but not be able to back them up, now that I actually have redundant storage on my new Plex server.
