This is a request to restore a feature that once existed in the older version of the Plex client for Android/Fire TV devices. You used to be able to set the device name in the client, which helped you identify that client easily. This is crucial when deciding which player you want to control from your phone or other device, or when viewing the status page to see what devices are consuming various media.
I have several devices that have similar footprints, and since the 2.5.4 client with the new UI, I cannot distinguish multiple AFTVs from one another on my network.
