Will we ever get the ability to resume playback for an in-progress recording? Currently, there is “start from beginning” and “start from live” (not sure of the exact wording) but no “resume from last position”. This is a problem especially in sports recordings that are several hours long. If you ever stop in-progress playback, it is a real pain to then try to manually fast forward to the last playback position.

Agree. This is a standard DVR feature that I think folks expect. I certainly did.

At least now when I watch something live, that is also recording and then go to the recording later it is remember where I stopped watching. It is nice for all the night football games I go to bed at half time during.
I agree though my livetv has been crap lately. It keep dying in the middle. Then I have to find where I was without thumbnails.
I just noticed this after watching the ball drop yesterday. I was surprised to see it show up in my continue watching cue. I guess it only works though if you watch live? Strange, but hopefully they’ll get it to work for watching from beginning soon too.
