I’m optimizing a library of 6000 videos and have had it running for days. It’s been running perfectly fine, no bugs to report. My problem came from not realizing a “retry failed” feature isn’t available. I had to reorganize the room my server is in which I paused optimizations, moved my equipment, then got everything back online. However, my server booted up before my NAS did and as a result I now have a list of videos with “File unavailable” errors next to them where Plex was unable to locate those files to optimize while the NAS was booting.
I can click the retry button next to each one, but with how many videos I have this is going to take forever. A “retry all failed” button would be a nice quality of life feature for weird little instances like this.
For what it’s worth, clicking the retry button next to the video does work. It does its optimization just fine. But there’s just too many to do that with. I’ll have to make a new optimize queue.
