Ripping from ISO to MP4 with Handbrake (MacOS Big Sur)

I need to separate some episodes from bonus features on a Star Trek TNG DVD.
I’ve started using Handbrake because it is faster and easier than MakeMKV.

I’ve ripped a disc which has 2 episodes and 6 Bonus Features. I need to separate the bonus features from the Episodes because the Bonus Features are not showing up in Plex.

In Handbrake-
Open Source- select the ISO File.
Add To Queue - Add Titles To Queue
HB Displays all of the titles with the same name, and will not allow me to edit the titles names.
I can deselect the episodes from the bonus features, but the episodes still have the same name.

I’m new to handbrake, am I doing something wrong?

Weird. Due to the re-compression which happens in HB always, I think makemkv would be faster.

I think you will get better answers here https://forum.handbrake.fr/

Recompression?
I did post a message in the HB forum

Anything you put through Handbrake is being recompressed. The video is being unpacked from the source file and then again compressed into the destination file.

While makemkv is by default operating lossless, by only remuxing the various video, audio, and subtitle streams from the source to the destination file containers.

Don’t you mean compressed?
The video on the DVDs is not compressed, but is compressed when going to MP4 …

Of course it is already compressed.
On DVD it uses the MPEG2 compression codec,
on Bluray it uses either MPEG2, H.264, or VC-1.

Uncompressed video would not fit onto either storage medium.
