Roku Live TV and recordings fail to play

Player Version#: 8.6 build 9 (and 8.6 build 5)

When trying to watch Live TV or a recording (from LiveTV) on my roku, it spins at 33% then errors with “Playback Error. Playback has stopped due to an error. Please check your connection and try again”

Looking in the logs shows:

Invalid decoder type 'aac_latm'

I’m able to watch both LiveTV and the recordings from other devices so this is specific to the roku.

I’ve rolled back to v1.42.2.10156 and recordings and Live TV are working again.
