Just Discovered RMP has access to PMS (all our TV’s are Roku), it seems it has access to everything, but Plex app does not, it works correctly, how is RMP by passing the need for passwords?
We have are accounts set up based on age of children - PG movies -G moves R movies, G movies is non-pass-worded but the rest are. How is it RMP is accessing all of them without the need for a password?
You must have the DLNA server in Plex enabled. That’s how the RMP can see it. I may be wrong, but I don’t think DLNA has any security measures, so Plex can’t enforce password protection.
There is a ‘DLNA’ section in Settings (Plex Web) where you can turn the DLNA server off if you don’t need it.
