Hi, My Roku Plex app on all of my Roku devices no longer has the screensaver when playing music. The app used to show the music then eventually have a moving square across the screen which eliminated burn in.
I understand Roku changed its terms involving screensaver - yet some other apps still include in app screensavers.
Plex does not anymore - will this feature return?
While playing music for hours with no screensaver Plex is causing (or would if I let it) significant burn in. I have an older plasma TV - its in great shape and I wish to keep it that way. I also have an OLED and if I play music for a long period of time that will also show some burn in. Essentially, the only safe way to play music via the Roku Plex app is to turn off the TV - which defeats the purpose. I have a Node if I want to do that.
As of now, I no longer use Plex for my music on Roku devices - which is a large reason I originally purchased Plex Pass (lifetime).
