I have the most latest plex windows server version as of this post and also the latest roku plex app as of this post…
I’ve posted about this months ago, why can i play a .mp4 file with accompanying .srt file on my windows desktop using any windows media play perfectly fine with subtitles and they are in sync. BUT if i play them from my plex Roku app they are out of sync by a few seconds ?? BTW iphone plex app no issues subtitle SRTs work fine

also happens with .mkv files with built in .srt sub titles… the work around is to exit the movie back to roku plex app, then go back to roku home menu (closing plex app) then reopening plex roku app and playing the movie now the sub titles are in sync. if you then fast forward, rewind, or pause guess what you have to do the workaround every time
Plex developers this is still an issue and easily re-produce-able… please fix this . thank you
