Plex worked fantastically for a month on my Roku. But now, the music files showing on the Plex Media Server webpage correctly no longer show on my Roku Plex channel.
I tried deleting my library, adding it again, refreshing metadata, removing my Plex Roku channel, rebooting my Roku, and adding the Plex Roku channel back. But the Plex Roku channel still shows the wrong files.
Are you sure you are using the same Plex account on the Roku that you do for your server?
When I add back the Roku Plex channel, it doesn’t ask for a log-in, it just loads the wrong library. How does one log-in to Plex on Roku? It just sees the server on it’s own, right?
When you remove an app from your Roku the info like login and settings info gets retained unless you reboot your Roku. The proper order to get things reset is:
Remove the Plex app
Reboot your Roku
Reinstall the Plex app
Sign in to your Plex app on your Roku
That should clear up any issues involving the credentials on the Roku.
No change whatsoever. The wrong files are still showing on the Plex Roku channel.
Can you provide screenshots from the Roku and from PMS to show what is different?
