Roku Plex Channel Version 6.4 build 10 BROKEN

Server Version#: Version 1.18.3.2156
Player Version#: Roku Channel Version 6.4 build 10

I have two Roku smart tvs running the Plex app. TV 1 was failing to load Plex and was crashing back to home. I noted it was 6.4 build 10.

I checked TV 2 which was on 6.4 build 9. TV2 loaded Plex as normal. I then requested an update and Plex channel updated to 6.4 build 10. TV 2 now crashing when trying to load Plex.

Thanks and hope to see a quick fix.

Same issue! Plex won’t start on Roku and immediately reverts back to roku home page. Any solutions i can implement?

Yep, just started for me around 7:30pm EST. ROku Version 6.4Build10, server Version 1.18.5.2309. WTH?

Same issue here, Roku 6.4 Build 10.

Same issue, Roku App version 6.4 build 10. Server Linux Ubuntu ver 1.18.6.2368, I have checked on the server under setting Allow Fallback to Insecure Connections: Always, rebooted my router, uninstall and re-installed the Plex app on Roku and still it won’t come up. I have logs if you all need them from Plex server and will be happy to send them over. Help please. Thanks

Same issue, 6.4 Build 10.

Same here, same versions, just started tonight

It was working a few hours ago, and now it doesn’t work on either of my Roku devices (one is a 4200 that was working fine earlier, and the other an Insignia Roku TV). Both have the same version. Verified Plex server is working fine and accessible via other devices.

Server is working correctly as I am connecting to test via Phone Android Plex on the same network wifi. That is working, so it is Roku Plex app 6.4 Build 10

Nvidia Shield working as intended. Just Roku Plex Channel is broke.

On the Roku, this is also happening with Disney+ app, so may not be solely related to Plex itself.

Roku has apparently solved the issue. It is working now again for me. They said to check for a Software Update and then try accessing the broken channels again.

It must be taking a while I try to check for update and it just say’s it’s already updated and hasn’t fixed the problem I will give it more time. Thanks for the update srfndave1

That fixed it, do an update on Roku not just plex app.

FIXED. Thanks to the info provided above, System Update on Roku TV has fixed it. Good job everyone.

Same here

A reboot just now fixed the issue for me (and I had rebooted several times to no effect earlier). Per https://community.roku.com/t5/Channel-Issues-Questions/Channels-wont-load/td-p/541160, it looks like it was a system-wise Roku issue.
