Roku skips to next episode in the last few minutes

Has been going on nearly a year.

Plex cutting off before the end of an episode

Server Version#: 1.18.3.2156 Player Version#: 6.4.9.6153-6d1b63c9b Plex is cutting off videos about 2 to 3 minutes before the end. This seems to be an issue only when transcoding and when using Roku as a client. If you go back to where you were when it cut off and play again, it plays through to the end without problems. Can someone please help with this?

[BUG] TV episodes stop playing 2 minutes before end of episode

Server Version#: 1.18.2.2029 Player Version#: Roku player- what ever version is most recent- automatic updates When playing a TV Episode accessed from on deck the Episode stops playing at 2 minutes until the end of Episode. Has been this way for few Plex versions. I thought at first it was related to auto play of next function but I turned that off and issue remains. I have multiple Roku devices from [Roku 3’s and 4’s] and this issue happens on all of them. I do not think it is a Roku issue. …

TV Shows Ending about 3 minutes early on some players

Server Version#: 1.18.4.2171 Player Version#: Roku Ultra Plex v6.4.9.6153 A lot of people have been having this issue for a couple years and usually it is fixed in a server update. I have tried some of the fixes others have mentioned such as lowering my transcode buffer from 60 to 15 but this doesnt work for me. Anyone else know any other ideas? Only TV Shows are affected, the video ends about 3 minutes before the end and then auto play starts the countdown for the next video in the serie…

[BUG] Video ending prematurely on Roku

Server Version#: 1.19.2.2737 b69929dab Player Version#: Roku 6.5.3.6532 I’ve only noticed this issue when streaming on my Rokus (2 different devices). It’s always happened toward the end of an episode with about 5-10 minutes left. Show ends and immediately goes to the next episode countdown screen. If I restart the same episode and ff to the point it cuts off, I can play the remaining part of the show. This started happening about 2-3 weeks ago. Anyone else have this issue?
