As of today, I cannot use the Plex app on my Roku TCL TV. Worked fine yesterday. My TV is up to date (8.1.0) and the Plex app works on my iOS device and Apple TV. As soon as I open the Plex app, the logo comes on screen, stays for about 15-20 seconds and then fades back to the home screen. I’ve tried deleting Plex apps and reinstalling them, a system reboot, a factory reset, nothing worked. Can someone help me out or has anyone dealt with it before?
Edit: I finally got the Plex app to open. Don’t ask me how, I just kept trying it and on one of the tries I was able to link my account again. But I continually get “no direct connection” error that it can’t be done at this time. When I don’t get the error and the server loads, EVERYTHING runs extremely slow, can’t play media because it’s continually loading and lots of “content unavailable” any advice? Can’t understand how 12 hours ago everything was working great and now, without me making any changes and just going to bed, when I wake up and turn the app on, nothing plays.
