During DVR/Live TV playback if you press pause, or by arrow navigation, the playback won’t pause and the video portion goes blank but you can continue hear audio. You have to rewind and play to get video to return. Any ideas? It’s happened enough to report.
I can second this. Happening to me also on my roku ultra and plex server on qnap.
If I back out instead of pause and then play again , pause works after that. But if I’m playing something and try to pause the first time the screen goes black and audio keeps playing
Almost identical for me as well. It started about a month ago and happens about 20% of the time. I’ll pause the show and the screen goes blank except for the controls at the bottom of the screen. I don’t get any audio, but it seems the show keeps playing in the background somewhere. It is happening on my Roku 4800x with Plex Preview 6.7 Build 6, Roku OS 9.4.1 build 4222-C2 and windows 10 PMS 1.21.2.3918. I see there’s a PMS update available (Version 1.21.2.3939 ). I’ll try updating and see if it goes away.
[UPDATE] still an issue with 1.21.2.3939.
We are aware of an issue with the Roku 4800. All other models are working properly. From what we can tell it only occurs when attempting to pause after using Instant Replay. We are investigating, and hope to find a solution soon. If anyone is able to reproduce this without using Instant Replay first, please let us know. Any additional details how to reproduce would help.
We have released a update to the Preview channel to fix the issue.
