Roku: When will scheduling recordings resume on Live TV DVR?

Server Version#: 1.23.4.4775
Player Version#: Roku Plex Preview 6.8 Build 4

Changes seem to be afoot with the new Plex Roku interface. When will we be able to schedule Live TV DVR recordings again through the Roku interface?

Right now, instead of a record button we can only hit a button to take us to what is playing on that channel right now. The only other options are File Info which doesn’t tell us anything, and delete which is not helpful because nothing has been recorded.

This is the case on TCL Roku TV as well as my Roku Ultra.

Thanks for any information.

I regret having to inform you of this ('cause it’s the dumbest thing I have ever witnessed):

Hit * - then drill your way to happiness…

UNFORTUNATELY!

I’m not clear about what you’re suggesting. Hit * on the Roku remote on a particular screen? Is this a temporary fix?

Hit * when you’re on the item in the guide.
You get a window
you drill
You get another window
That may or may not be the recording area - I passed out from exhaustion by that time and just woke up.

I have a feeling this is ‘New Plex’.
How are you liking it?

Ah. I see. Hmm, I don’t seem to need to drill. When in the Guide grid, it does take me to the record screen.

Does not have the same effect when browsing movies, which I assume will come back at some point (there have been changes here in the last day or so, from poster art to the updated look).

I have Plex Preview so I’m used to these transitions, signed up for them in a sense. I like where the new Plex interface is going, actually. Just wondering when the functionality might return.

Thank you.

Lucky you.

I get a dialog box that reads:
Record Options
Go To Details

Then I arrive…

I’m working from the Traditional Channel Guide.

Update:
I was looking at a running program.
A future program goes directly to the record options - thankfully - after having endured the constantly loading splash graphics and blurred background - for every single item in the guide you land on.
