Does it work?
I.e. IP control capable programs like Roomie Remote can control Plex via IP, eliminating the need for IR blasters.
If it does, does it give feedback to the remote? Most modern receivers can be controlled this way, providing feedback like volume and input status to the remote app.
If it’s not possible today, then consider this a feature request
It would be amazing to have this kind of visual feedback directly on the remote.
i don’t think it can, but that would be awesome, i’m always wondering what somebody may be watching in another room in the house
I have tried it and it works.
It a little bit tricky to set up but once done it is great to press one button to change input on both tv and receiver and turn of the lightning.
Hi there, I’m having problems getting roomie to see plex, I have tried manually connecting on port 32400 to it’s 192* address but no joy, this works fine with a web browser however on the network. Port 9090 on the plex server is only listening on localhost but is there anything else I can try before opening it up that to 0.0.0.0 ?

If you're unsing PHT, you have to configure your Plex client as XBMC port 3005
Thanks, jcastera, sorted :)

Can I ask how to use this? I assume I'm doing it right, I keep getting "File not found":-

EDIT:-
